INC. THIS MORNING New company holiday? Good morning, Kendra Scott is making the day after Mother's Day a company holiday, and she thinks you should too. Starting in 2022, the Austin-based eponymous jewelry company will make the Monday after Mother's Day (May 9 this year) a paid company holiday. The initiative, called "Take the Time," applies to all of the company's 2,600 employees, not just mothers. "Whether our employees are working moms themselves or they want to take the time to celebrate a parental figure in their life, we want to give them the time to do that," Scott says.
