Having used the exact same provider for several years I assumed I 'd never require to search for a wholesale bakery in Somerset, however with tightening supply chains, shortage of drivers and ever rising minimum orders covid changed all that. I spoke to the baker himself and used the Somerset Bakery site to send them an email, which they responded to immediately with a pricelist. It had everything I believed I needed on there; white bread, granary sandwich loaves, boules, bloomers, even rolls, baguettes as well as hot cross buns, and the very best part was the free delivery on a day that suited me! There were a couple of other wholesale baked goods that were missing yet I met the baker, showed him what I desired and now have a regular supply from him. I should not be surprised as he's an award-winning baker with decades of experience as well as his sourdough bread is the best I have actually ever tasted ... I really shouldn't be saying this yet I get a few extra loaves every week just for my family!
