Not Heavy Enough I have been using the Nuby My Real Potty Training Toilet for a few weeks now and while there are some positive aspects to it, there are also a few negative points that I wanted to address. Firstly, I found that the toilet is not heavy enough. This may not seem like a big deal, but when a toddler is trying to get on and off the toilet, it can be quite unstable. There have been a few instances where my little one almost fell off while trying to maneuver herself onto the seat. Obnoxious Flushing Sound Another aspect that I found to be quite bothersome is the excessively loud flushing sound. While it is true that the toilet is designed to be realistic and mimic an adult-sized toilet, the flushing sound is just too obnoxious. It startles my daughter every time she presses the flush button and sometimes even scares her. I wish there was an option to adjust the volume or perhaps have a softer flushing sound option for those sensitive to noise. Despite these negative points, I still believe that the Nuby My Real Potty Training Toilet is a good product overall. However, these issues should be taken into consideration before making a purchase. FAQs How realistic is the Nuby My Real Potty Training Toilet? Its motivational sound effect, realistic appearance, comfortable design, and effective aim training make it an excellent buy for potty training. I highly recommend this product to parents who are embarking on the potty training journey with their toddlers and kids. The Nuby My Real Potty Training Toilet is amazingly realistic. It is designed to look and feel just like an adult version, making it easier for toddlers and kids to transition to using the actual toilet. It stays in place, ensuring that there are no accidents or messes outside of the toilet. Does it stay in place while my child is using it? Absolutely! This provides a stable and secure seat for your little one during potty training. Can I use baby wet wipes with it? This convenient feature allows you to have everything you need within reach, making the potty training process even easier for both you and your child. Cons Size limitations: While the Nuby My Real Potty Training Toilet is designed to resemble an adult-sized toilet, it may still be too small for older toddlers or larger children. Parents should consider the size and age appropriateness before purchasing. Sound volume: Some reviewers have mentioned that the flush button sound on the training toilet may be too loud, especially for children with sensory sensitivities. Adjusting the volume or using it in a different room may be necessary. Pot capacity: The removable pot may have limited capacity, requiring frequent emptying and cleaning. This could be time-consuming for parents, especially during the early stages of potty training when accidents are more frequent. Overall, the Nuby My Real Potty Training Toilet offers a realistic and engaging potty training experience for toddlers and kids. Its design, sound effects, and practical features make it a convenient choice for parents looking to ease their childҳ transition to using a regular toilet.
