Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) was first defined in 1994 as a severe illness with no recognized etiology or pathogenesis. As a consequence, earlier levels of work, education, social, or personal activities are drastically reduced. Most patients are unable to go on with their normal routines. Up to this point, there have been no cures or treatments that can be applied to all patients. As a result, the long-term supervision and observation of a CFS support group was meant to uncover techniques to a successful illness management.
