For example, you can use them to format text. You can create new style collections, edit existing styles or add to your styles gallery. Use Go To Style in order to format all text within your document based on a particular style type. This includes Character and Paragraph styles. Click on one of these styles to apply it. Create one using formatted text. Click Create New Style to open the Formatting box. Give it a suitable name and click OK. Styles gallery will automatically display the new style, so you won't have to click again for future use! Select a style in the Styles Gallery and then click Edit. A mini toolbar will appear above the selection. You can edit font family, font style, size, leading and kerning options, case options, plus add ligatures.
