#MavicMini #DJI Mavic Air 2 Available for Pre order NOWhttps://click.dji.com/AMFbXOR6k2oByvYGPzH72A?pm=link On the eve of the release of the new DJI Mavic Air 2, DJI has released a new firmware update with the manual video controls we have all been waiting for making it as close as you can get to a professional drone in the sub 250 gram drone segment. A few of the new added features include optimized remote controller performance, which may require a calibration if the remote controller is beeping after the update, so donҴ be alarmed if your controller begins to beep. There are improved download speeds for video and photos to your device and improved flight stability in certain scenarios as well as added support for for frequency adjustment in Ukraine. The really big features added as close to professional features you can get in the sub 250 gram drone segment. The first one is they added new frame-rates, including 24 and 48 frames per second, with 24 fps being the standard for cinematic footage since the earliest days of cinema. 48 fps allows you to slow down the frame rate 50% for slow motion video. We also now have full control over exposure and white balance. Although the white balance is harder to get to and less intuitive to control, controlling exposure with Shutter speed and ISO is much easier now and will allow you to have more control over your shots to get exactly what you want from your mini. These new firmware updates along with properly utilizing ND filters, will let you get more cinematic footage and brings a new consumer option to professionals to get difficult shots they would otherwise not be able to get with larger drones. Check out my video on Tiffen ND filters and what the 180 degree shutter rule is and how to get better and more cinematic footage. One of the uses Iҭ finding for the Mini is going out of country, we recently went on a Cruise, before the recent pandemic started, and because of the sub 250 gram weight we can take it to most of the islands and fly without any kind of permitting or licensing. Although most islands are too windy to fly the mini, which was the case on our cruise, but I felt secure and safe bringing it with me vs my more expensive drones.
